This book was even better than Olive Kitteridge, if that was possible.  I truly enjoyed it.  Each chapter is a story in itself but woven around the common thread of small town coastal Maine, vivid characters, sad and happy memories.  Olive was a middle school math teacher, married twice, one son.  Each story touches on aspects of human life and emotion from parental love, aging, loneliness, spousal abuse.  All of this is examined in an upbeat way.  As a reviewer wrote….”That Olive…she continues to surprise me, continues to enrage me, continues to sadden me, and continues to make me love her

I love Olive!
