Loving Eleanor

Two unconventional women making a statement in our country.  Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady and Lorena Hickok, Hick……come together for social issues, reporting. friendship and intimacy.  In this fictionalized portrayal of their relationship, one glimpses life in the Whjite House with FDR and all of his team.

I enjoyed this book but felt it was a more romanticized version opf this time.  Yes, it did refer to many of the social programs that Eleanor championed and Yes, Hick was a superb reporter.

I think this book would be a good companion piece to a biography on each woman individually.
