This was a non fiction read that I thoroughly enjoyed.  Every minute!  I loved learning about Winston Churchill and his remarkable life through the eyes of a very capable and compelling woman.  The history of the times ranging from World War ! through the end of WW!! and the beginning of the cold war were preent3ed in a very reseached and manageable manner.  I learned so much!  I also learned that Clementine Churchill was a woman in her OWN right, totally devoted to Winston, but history records little of her incredible service to Winston and her contry.  She made amazing strides with women’s rights and human rights.

600 pages of history and a wonderful experience for me.  I enjoyed learning of Clementine and the love of her life, Winston.  Though brilliant, he was difficult and a challenge to be with.  She knew how to make it all work.

A remarkable read!
